Qualifications and Education

One of the things I love about this work, is that there is always more to learn.  Having been a member of the British Acupuncture Council for 12 years, I then left to join the Association of Acupuncture Clinicians (AAC), which in turn is part of the British Acupuncture Federation (BAF).

All members of the AAC  or British Acupuncture Council have done a degree level or equivalent qualification in Acupuncture (3600 hours).  I qualified with a BSc (Hons) TCM: Acupuncture at Westminster University in 2008, and have been actively practicing since then, treating over 2,000 patients.  That degree included anatomy and physiology, western biomedical science, differential diagnosis, personal professional development as well as a deep understanding of the philosophy and theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine and practical clinical experience throughout.

I am committed to ongoing CPD (Continuing Professional Development), and my CPD completed to date include...

and more....!

Always check the qualifications of anyone practicing Acupuncture or "needling" you- it is UNREGULATED in the UK and there are more and more short courses available, leaving patients vulnerable to dangerous and unethical practice.
