Cosmetic Acupuncture

Facial Rejuvenation acupuncture to help you look your best

Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture (also known as cosmetic acupuncture) is a luxury treatment, designed to enhance circulation to the face, balance complexion and muscle tightness, reduce fine lines and wrinkles, enhance lymph circulation to reduce puffiness, and leave you feeling and looking your best! It offers a safe, effective and natural alternative to injected toxin treatments such as Botox. 

 

The treatment includes a holistic, full-body treatment, starting with using points on the ears, the application of a soothing, organic anti-inflammatory hydrolat (floral water), and then points on the face and scalp for lifting and rejuvenation.  The treatment ends with a relaxing and stimulating acupressure facial massage with organic oils, and depending on what is appropriate for you, we may include some light facial gua sha, cupping or jade roller.  Each treatment is tailored to the individual and your particular needs or concerns, whether that is prevention, healthy natural skincare, or more specific problem areas or concerns.  As it is a holistic treatment, lifestyle and dietary suggestions may also be recommended. 

 

A course of treatment is ideally 12-15 treatments within 10 weeks, but depending on your particular concerns, weekly treatment may be just as effective.  Monthly maintenance sessions are recommended. Treatments can be paid separately or as a bundle, which provides a saving of approximately £10 per session.

 

You will need to arrive with a clean face, without make-up and concealers if possible.  Minor, temporary bruising on the face is a possibility due to the rich capillary network on the face, but we do everything we can to avoid this, so it is uncommon.  If you bruise easily, please let me know in advance, and I may recommend a course of supplements to take before starting treatment to help strengthen your capillaries.  ​

Please note this treatment is not recommended for those who are or may be pregnant, those with high blood pressure, Diabetes, or an active cold or cold sore.  It is also not recommended if you have ever had facial fillers, or have had botox in the past 6 months.  Migraine sufferers need to be cautious, it may be best to book for a course of standard acupuncture first to manage these before commencing facial rejuvenation treatments.
